Just a second..

So this is just an outfit I wore a couple of times in the holiday season, because it´s kind of a little christmas inspired (because of the red), warm enough and -dressed up with a tiara which gives it something special- it´s really wearable for even christmas eve. The dress is from american apparel and I love it ! <3 So have a wonderful Christmas day and enjoy the time with your people !

Take me far away..

Here´s my outfit of the day: I wore lace-leggings with a highwaisted hotpants by Topshop. Then I wore an "Isla Margarita de Venezuela"-top over a basic black shirt. To complete the look I wore a captain´s hat:) This outfit was really fun to wear- even every day. It´s just a little unusual, but who cares ?! :D Have a wonderful weekend!

So here it is, my second Burlesque-inspired makeup look. This one is much more natural, it almost looks like you´re not wearing any makeup at all. I really like this look because it´s flattering but really wearable at the same time. It´s perfect for school or just normal days where you want to look good without putting so much effort into your makeup. So here it is:

1. Apply your foundation and concealer if needed- you want your skin to look really even.
2. For my lidcolor I mixed a light brown color with a light pink and a corally shade, but that´s really up to you, just use a light brown with a bit of shimmer. Just pat it on with your fingers lightly so you will tell a difference but not really see the color.
3. Apply a brown that´s a little darker right above the crease and blend it really well.
4. Highlight your browbone and your inner tearduct with a light but not shimmery color (blanc type by MAC is perfect.)
5. Line your lashline with a light to medium brown pencil liner. Do the same thing under your lower lashline but just until it meets the highlight color.
6. Put just a thin coat of mascara on- your lashes will appear longer and fuller without looking like you really worked on them.
7. Contour your face lightly and apply a pink blush right on the apples of your cheeks. I put a bit of powder over it so it looks really natural.
8. Use a tinted lipbalm or a pink or coral lipstick and you´re good to go!

I know eight steps looks a lot but when you do it, it really takes barely any time. So new fashion posts will be up soon and I hope you enjoy your week!

Loving shoes.

So I bought these shoes a while ago and I really enjoy them ! They weren´t expensive at all and I loved the ones from Gucci anyways which look kind of similar but obviously they´re way more expensive.. So I picked this ones up and I really enjoyed them so far ! They have a hidden platform so they´re more comfortable than I first thought:) I have worn them with nude hose (as seen at the Marni Fall/Winter 10/11 show) and lace-leggings, but they would look really cute with just jeans. I think they´re so much fun because they look kind of edgy but classy at the same time.. Love them:) So have an awesome weekend and enjoy your evening !
